DiamondBack Abrasive was founded ten years ago on the notion of bringing "service" to an industry that could barely spell the word. Drawing on experience from other industries, we began a process designed to identify and deliver value-added services to our customer's grinding operations. As we tell our customers, "We want to be more than just a grinding wheel supplier."

Our own observations are that this industry has far too much "magic and moondust" – neither of which assists customers in making good decisions. We also observed that the purchasing activities surrounding the purchase of plated grinding wheels was one of the most complicated activities in MRO departments: i.e. buying, inventorying, using, returning, receiving, tracking.
